Some Malay questioned the Chief Secretary in the case of appointment SUK Selangor

Appointment of the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais), Datuk Mohd Khusrin Munawi as secretary of the new Selangor State Government, with effect from 1 January, sparked controversy when questioned by the opposition-led state government.

The appointment of Mohd Khusrin, 54, to replace Datuk Ramli Mahmud, 56, who completed the service on 31 December, announced the Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan said in a statement yesterday.

Datuk Mohd Khusrin Munawi is age: 54 years.  Secretary of the Selangor Islamic Religious Council of sessions from 2009 to 2011.

Holds a Bachelor of Economics majoring in Business Management, UKM.

Held positions as President of the Kajang District Council and the President of the Kuala Langat District Council and the Private Secretary to former Chief Minister of Selangor, Tan Sri Muhammad Muhd Taib


Pakatan Rakyat (mostly Malay) elected representatives want the Selangor government to ensure that Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) director Datuk Mohd Khusrin Munawi is not appointed as the new state secretary.

Appointment of the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais), Datuk Mohammed Khusrin Munawi as Secretary of State does not require the consent of the Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim as Sultan Idris Shah Sharafudin gave consent for the appointment.

 Private Secretary to the Sultan of Selangor, Datuk Mohamad Munir Bani said the Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah has given consent for the appointment and in accordance with the Constitution of the state, he has executive powers for that purpose.

 He said the Undang-undang Tubuh Kerajaan negeri also stated that the State Government, the Secretary of State and several other positions have been established and the appointment will be made by the commission in respect of the Public Service Commission.
This issue should not in Malay politics by focusing more instead of other developing nations that can wilt.

AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 : Malaysia Won 3-0 Over Indonesia even though Interference of Laser Light


 Malaysia picked up a handsome 3-0 win over arch rivals Indonesia in the first-leg of the final in the Suzuki Cup Asean Football Federation (AFF) Championships at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Sunday.

Mohd Safee Sali was the toast scoring a brace in the 60th and 73rd minutes while substitute Mohd Ashaari Shamsuddin scored the other goal in the 67th minute to give Malaysia a comfortable three-goal cushion for the second-leg final at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Match stopped briefly about five minutes due to fan interference of laser light to Indonesian goalkeeper Indonesia. It was the Sultan of Pahang and FAM members also pitch in to solve the problem. Additional time was given for eight minutes at the end of the match.
